Polished-Nickel RALPH LAUREN Bottle Opener with a Story to Tell

A RALPH LAUREN bottle opener with an entertaining story to tell! Originally owned by Janyra Jasan (aka Jeanette Johnson), Ralph Lauren’s influential design development executive for 20+ years (until 2015). It has a chic textured handle, polished-nickel finish, with RL logo engraved on bottom. It's no longer in production making it more "specialty and found". In new condition this may have been a prototype, it came from her estate auction that had several RL prototypes. The perfect gift for the "hostess with the mostess" who loves to entertain in high-style with fabulous stories to tell!

During the 1960's, prior to Ralph Lauren, Jasan was part of the girl group "Candy and the Kisses". Their 1965 hit called "The 81" can still be heard on YouTube and Spotify. She was an abstract expressionist painter that exhibited in the 1980s at the HarrisBrown Gallery in Boston and several NYC galleries.
