$32,000.00Price

A coveted set of (6) Mid-Century curule dining chairs, by Maison Jansen. Upholstered exclusively for THE TASTEMAKER SHOPPE in striped velvet fabric "Esoteric/Aged Bronze” from Kravet's Couture Collection, Moore and Giles leather welting and tufting buttons. Brass feet have stamped markings on reverse.

Maison Jansen, a Parisian design firm founded in 1880, was legendary for blending classic and traditional styles with modern sophistication. They were internationally recognized and commissioned by royalty and heads of state, their most famous project was during John F. Kennedy's administration. Jacqueline Kennedy commissioned Boudin and Paul Manno, the head of Jansen's NY office, to decorate rooms. They designed the White House's iconic “Red Room” and “Chambel IV” yacht” (renamed “NorthWind II) for the Kennedys. A treasured find for collectors and interior design enthusiasts of chic, timeless, period pieces with a story!
