Giacometti-Style Iron Game or Breakfast Table with Travertine Top

Giacometti-style hand-forged iron and travertine game table, customized exclusively for THE TASTEMAKER SHOPPE! The top is reversible, one side being a honed-travertine treated with a semi-translucent whitewash and wax-finish. A palette of creamy-whites, greige and mushroom-grays topped with a wax luster and protective layer. The result is richly layered textures conveying quiet understated luxury. The flipside is a warmer, slightly darker, highly polished-travertine, more versatile for outdoor use. (Over time extreme heat/sunlight could melt the top wax coat, which can be reapplied. Heat won’t affect the chalky white-wash, the color will remain the same – without the wax luster.) The iron frame has a warm bronze-tone textured powder-coat finish, making it suitable (more rustproof) for outdoors.
