Pair of Chairs or 2-Piece Loveseat, Made by and Upholstered in Donghia Fabric

Two-piece loveseat or pair of chairs from Donghia's Saratoga Furniture Collection, upholstered in Donghia patterned fabric - a sophisticated palette of gray, blue and white hues. It looks fabulous from every angle with tailored corner pleats and welting. One of its distinct features is its modular configuration; the two pieces can be separated and used individually. This Donghia collection and fabric are no longer in production making it more "specialty and found."  
 
Italian-American interior designer Angelo Dongia founded Donghia in 1968. Educated at Parsons School of Design, he was a 70's disco era interior design legend for the way he infused high glamour in both maximalist and minimalist interiors with a line of luxury furnishings and textiles (available to the trade.) He created iconic interiors for fashion designers and celebrities like Halston, Ralph Lauren, Liza Minnelli, Diana Ross, Neal Simon, Woody Allen, Mary Tyler Moore, Steve Martin, Barbara Walters and more. His sister Sherrie Donghia wrote in her book "DONGHIA The artistry of luxury and style - "as a son of a tailor, he built his practice on the principle that interior furnishings should be constructed with the same precision and quality of a fine custom-made suit." As a Curator and Interior Designer, these are the unique design qualities I seek – knowing it will transcend time, always in style, never trendy.
